TrueCup is a bra size app that means business: no advertising algorithms, no redirects to a specific brand, no outdated formulas. Put the tape measure in, get the real size out.

What the app solves

The majority of people wear the wrong bra size – not because they don't want better, but because calculations in most stores and apps are based on the +4 method from the 1940s. TrueCup uses the modern +0 method (ABTF standard): underbust measurement directly as band size, cup size derived from the actual difference.

Additionally: shape determination (projection, fullness, distance), brand translation (75B Triumph is not 75B Anita), and affiliate-free recommendations for large cups starting from D.

What the app can do

Measurement entry with step-by-step instructions and example images. Three measurements for upper bust (standing, leaning forward, lying down) – the average provides the most accurate cup size. Shape determination via image selection. Results include a brand translation table. Screening reminders based on current DE screening standards.

Privacy by Design: no image leaves the device, no cloud, no account.

Development Status

Alpha. Fitting engine is running and validated against test cases. Native Android APK via Capacitor (wraps PWA). Brand table with 8 brand seeds, affiliate integration still pending. Camera measurement (MediaPipe on-device) is planned but not yet integrated.
