The Foundation

346 episodes of He-Man and She-Ra have been downloaded and backed up – in both German and English. That was step one.

What the AI is currently doing

Now it goes through every episode, frame by frame. Every single image is being extracted.

For cost reasons, Filmation recycled massive amounts of footage in the 80s. The same animation cycle, the same background, the same explosion – repeated in dozens of episodes. The AI is designed to recognize exactly that: remove duplicates, keep only unique frames. The goal is a clean library – categorized by characters, backgrounds, and effects.

An audio pipeline is running in parallel. Speech, music, and sound effects are being separated.

Setup

Everything is local. Own hardware, no cloud, no subscription. A pure fan project without commercial interest.
